Gallery Representation
So happy to announce that we now officially have gallery representation. Not sure what I have been so afraid of all these years. I spent so long being fearful that no one liked the art and objects that I have been making my entire life that I never tried to even get an appointment with a gallery owner to see what they thought. Well I guess the joke is on me because the first gallery I had the courage to make an appointment with accepted my work. This also made me realize that I have been in every gallery show that I have ever applied to be in and a few that I was asked to be in without applying. I hope that I can keep this momentum going. I would like to be in more galleries around Hawaii and the mainland. You can find some of my work in Maui Hands Gallery in Paia and hopefully elsewhere soon. Wish me luck and keep an eye out for my pieces. Aloha

My Guarded Heart
This original one of a kind necklace was handmade by us on Maui and is just in time for that special someone for Valentines day. It is hand cut from copper and patinaed black. It hangs from a silver plated chain. This item can be custom made in brass, copper or silver. Please note that if made in brass it will appear gold in color and not black.

Held at the historic 1917 Kaluanui Estate, the evening features live music, dancing, a gourmet seated dinner, live and silent auction, and an opportunity to meet a wonderful community of arts supporters. Serving Maui residents and visitors for more than 70 years, the Hui is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, community based arts education organization offering a wide range of programs that support lifelong learning in the arts. Proceeds from Art Affair enable access to exceptional visual arts programming for all ages and artistic abilities.
The Hui remains a hive of innovation, a place to be challenged and a home to hard work and incredible creativity—all of which are made possible by the generosity of our community of supporters. We look forward to working together to make this year’s Art Affair truly exceptional.
